Yikes

This monster house spider greeted me by the front door as I went out this morning...so I had to go and get a camera. It very obligingly stood still on the edge of a plant pot for me. Extra hairy in LARGE

The rest of the day we spent at Roundhay Park with our daughter and granddaughters...coffee and lunch and plenty of play on the swings and slides for the little ones.

We also visited Tropical World - it was unbearably hot in the butterfly house! An ice cream was required afterwards.
