An emergency blip!

On the Edinburgh Bypass (A720 West Bound). What luck!. Been too busy to get out and about proper.

Spent the morning cleaning the house top to bottom, our bathroom designer was coming this afternoon. He only went into the bathroom. Doh!

Anyway, he was great, we enjoyed loads of off topic blethers including post apocalyptic survival techniques (he wasn't on the clock, this was a free design consultation).

There was a lot of “Why don't you..” and “You could actually...” and “If you thought about a..” and a few “Oh, you really don't want to do that because...”

Long story short our original plans have been booted into touch. Radical new design, new layout. Mrs FP demonstrated ably what “scope creep” meant. I'm sure it'll work out cheaper in the long run. Ha! I'm not sure why changing all the internal doors is paramount to the success of the project but Mrs FP is very keen.
