Splash o Red on da Croft

A breezy and warm day, but mostly overcast.  There was the odd sunny spell.  A dull evening, and some mist hanging over the hills.

Another busy day working in the museum.  Boat Week continues, and plenty more activities for folk to get hands on with.  Met up with my oldest pal, Tam Bardell, him and the family have come home for a summer break.  Hope to get to see more of them soon.  Been down to mam's this evening, and then off to work in the pub later.

After a cuppa with mam and dad, me and Sammy headed out for a walk.  It was quite a dull evening, but fine and warm considering.  I was on the lookout for friend Jean, usually this time of year she's busy working on the croft, or out in the rigs.  No sign of her or Will, but I spied their tractor at the end of their road.  The splash of red on the hay turner made the dull evening a little better.  Taken at Islesview, Greenmow, Cunningsburgh.
