Salen Show With No Mud?

Probably the sunniest weather for a while at today's Salen Show meant the show-ground was packed full of people.
As always there was plenty to keep you entertained including the judging of the Blackfaces (main pic), Cheviots (extra blip). Produce tents had everything from little blueberries to massive marrows and various cakes, breads and jams etc.
The other extra Blip is of a pair of rosettes for "plain scones" (1st) and "filled chocolate sponge" (3rd) that I got to try out later when we got back home - very tasty and the reason our house smelled of baking when I arrived home from work yesterday and again this morning!
