Our dappled darling

Merry's adjustment is a joy to see. She has not tucked away to sleep this morning after birdwatching and our playtime. In the extra you can see she's settled in on a living room chair that was always a favorite of Max and Raspberry.  A teacher friend brought the cat pillow fabric when she was in Venezuela years ago. She was actually sleeping in a cat bed(the only one she has tried, the only one I didn't wash!) on a chest under the window n the bedroom last night. Previously we think she was sleeping downstairs at the top of the cat tree. She met Gregory yesterday afternoon, and nuzzled him. He loved her. Our cat sitter friend, Amy is the next one I want her to meet, she adored Raspberry.

This day came in sunny and cooler with lower humidity.

All hands glad for the good news at Dogcorner because the immigration raids in Mississippi and the terrified children left without parents has brought us to our knees.
