After the worst of the rain

This morning was the worst wind and rain l have seen here for years.  However this afternoon the storm passed and left us with a magnificent swell crashing in to the beach.  In the morning you would not know there was anyone in the town but as soon as the rain stopped the beach filled... people surfing, canoeing, swimming and generally gadding about on the beach.  I liked this silhouette of the children investigating the wet sand as the tide receded ... lots of fun and games
As it happens it is the last day of the BCsilhouette challenge.. hope this works
