"A sorrow's crown of sorrow Is remembering happier things."
Alfred, Lord Tennyson, (1809-1892) Locksley Hall
A day at home and in the town centre and other local places, a day when bro called for a while, a day for activity and rest, and some melancholy moments. On the weather front, rather crazy. Hot and sunny @ 26ºC lunchtime and early afternoon when I was in the town centre, but a torrential downpour early evening, so I got absolutely drenched walking back from the supermarket with my flowers for the hearth for this week, just as Dad always did - originally for Mum, but a tradition that he continued after we'd lost her, and that I've continued since we lost him, five years ago today. Tennyson was his favourite poet.
