hold on tight....

The winds arrived this morning and they're still with us  but thankfully no major damage to the garden - a few pots over and the sunflowers have taken a battering! This brave little bee was not going to be stopped this morning though and stocked up on this dahlia! Seen very few birds about today so they're all being sensible and I've stayed in too other than a walk to the local shops this morning for some supplies!

Not been a good afternoon on the football front again with another defeat for Southend United, but it's been a good day on the book post front with 6 new arrivals for me - 4 were the result of using up a book voucher, and 2 have arrived for me to review - so the need for space for another bookcase grows once more!
