Reaching For The Moon

The limbs of a tall walnut tree high above me reach out towards the sky catching the moon in its branches. I shot this at about an hour before sunset so the branches are still catching some light on a clear and sunny evening.

My first attempt at shooting the moon and I'm quite pleased how it came out. I used a two shot focus stack to get both the moon and tree sharp and I like how the craters show up on the moon. Close up, its possible to see the surface texture as the light fades into the shadow side.
