Balmedie

We took Brodie to Balmedie early this morning as we thought we were going to get rain . It was dull , misty but mild and the off shore windfarm was barely visible in the gloom . We'd a good walk and Brodie found some pals to play with and seems to have learned that sea water has emetic properties . 
Despite the promised rain it brightened up about 11 and after a light lunch in the new Japanese restaurant at the bottom of the road ( excellent ) we pottered around in the garden . I suspect we've missed the worst of the weather which will probably arrive tomorrow .
