Wet and windy

Poor Percy had the most terrible shock last night when I accidentally shut him in my reclining sofa!! poor pusskin was terrified when I opened it up again, and he had a bleeding ear too! I felt so guilty, but luckily he seems OK today. 
It has been really foul weather with very high winds and driving rain - late in the afternoon MR U&L and I decided to go to Shoreham - which was interesting...To be honest the wind was blowing so strongly off the sea I could barely stand up and breathing was really difficult! - there were lots of surfers though.
I noticed this lovely Oyster catcher along the river searching the mudflats at low tide - I really like the bleakness of this shot, it really defines the day!
