Welcome to the shore

We got here at 10:30 PM last night . I spent the previous week clearing out everything I could off my desk and out of my alerts box on the computer, cleaning the house, and neatening up the flower beds and garden. 
I always go for a walk on the beach first thing in the AM as there are fewer people out then ( I noticed this time there are  more people on the beach here than in prior years and fewer birds). but I actually got sanderlings in flight! Not the worlds greatest photo , but a smaller bird! That is a first for me!
