On the Fringe

The festival is very much up and running now; more people than ever it feels.

Today was exciting as we battled the crowds to see our son in a production of Rent, here at the Gilded Balloon. Really good to. I’d never seen the show before but it was great. A loose version of La Boheme set in late 1980s New York, in the artist community in the lower east side, with TB replaced by AIDS.

I mean, it doesn’t sound cheery - and it isn’t - but it is absolutely brilliant. As was our son, of course.
