If at first you don't succeed ....

A perfect - surely freshly emerged - Tortoiseshell butterfly caught my eye as I returned from a morning visit to a very good friend.   Busily feeding, it was constantly on the move among the flowers and vegetation.  This was the very last of about twenty shots .... and it was the best.

An afternoon re-potting colchicums and an evening helping my bro-in-law move some of Una's furniture to the home that will be her new home this time next week.  An emotional moment when we got back as she told me she is looking forward to it ... in some ways ....
