Beech Nut

Did a quick Tesco shop and then went to see my friend Chris - she has only two more weeks left and then she retires.  We will have to meet for coffee in the future.  When I got home KG had been trimming the hedges and I helped him tidy up.  As we were packing up I found this tiny beech nut case that had opened out  and decided to make this one my blip.  Thought is would be good for tiny Tuesday thanks to Nickimags888  for hosting .  I used my extension tubes  and full zoom.  really liked the effect.
I bought a ball of wool in Thornbury and have ordered some from Amazon so I am prepared for the big knit teach-in!!!  Found my mother knitting needles and hopefully they will be ok.  Have ordered some so have all bases covered.  I intend to start the knitting off for her as she is only 8 and might find it a bit daunting at first.  I had to remember how to cast on - but it soon came back.
