Trip to Tarbert
Day off and for a change we decided to drive north to Tarbert for a walk.
Achange of scenery for us.
We walked along by the harbour, had a look in some shops, bought a little model boat made of bits and bobs, and walked out past the ferry slip and the pier to the end of the road.
Lovely watching the yachts on Loch Fyne.(see extra)
Headed back to the town to get some sandwiches from the Loch Fyne Deli.
The sandwiches were nice but the service is slow.
Picnic lunch overlooking the marina.
This afternoon I was painting, getting in some practice for Ullapool.
My objective to get a quick representation, in this case of Westport beach, in acrylic of a scene.
Enjoyed the change of scenery today.
