Buddleia

I should have had a nice blip of me and my 2 friends and our daughters out for afternoon tea at a Cambridge hotel but our friend cancelled at the last minute so we didn’t go. We’re not sure why she cancelled, it’s all a bit of a mystery. Ali and Katie came over this afternoon anyway and we had scones and cream to make up for our disappointment.
I did a little walkabout in the garden to see what was alive, what had died and what was flowering. The buddleia has flowered since we went away and a lot of the flowers have started to go over. My job for tomorrow is to deadhead the roses which look like they’ve taken a bit of a battering.
