Peacock and bees

It was bright at the very start of the day and then clouded over until later in the day.
Mike’s away so I did some housework , so much easier to hoover etc without him in the house.
Cut back some on the plants near the pond as the annoying black cat has been hiding and has caught at least one bird, it nearly got scruffy robin today but fortunately missed it.
David put the bench together for the Look out and we sat up there with a drink in the sunshine.
Lots of peacocks on the buddleia at the bottom of the garden along with two painted ladies and a couple of small tortoiseshell.
One peacock butterfly took a fancy to my bee tea towel.
