Redcastle

Frank came to service the boiler at 8.30am today .It’s now had a good clean and given the ok for another year.
Mike went down to the garage to sort out the car, it’s had new brake pads fitted so hopefully it will not squeak now.
We went to the Farm shop to get some strawberries, potatoes and veg. We drove down to Milton of Redcastle to see if the Osprey was around as the tide was in.Not much around at all, just a few gulls along the edge as the tide was on the turn.
I walked up to the ruined castle. There’s a nasty crack at the side so hope it does not collapse.
They have put a new rail along the path down to the road and the grass had been cut. There was also a new bench in a gap in the wall.
Watched a noisy wren hopping about in the nettles.
It was overcast all day and we have had the lights and the heating on.
Sent a few emails to the new Parents of the girls joining Brownies.Really pleased that one of the parents has volunteered to help us so that means we can have a few more girls in the early group :)
