Something wonderful from nothing

We enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool, then the sons in law took the littler boys into Greve to buy food as #3 son in law was cooking tonight. They arrived back with no food. Not being Roman Catholics or Italian we did not know it was Assumption Day and every shop was closed.

We were running low as tomorrow is our last day. I made the children warmed stale wraps with Nutella and banana for their tea,.

After they were in bed, Luke made some beautifully presented starters with the hams, cheeses, salad etc we had left, followed by a really tasty pasta using the last of a spicy sausage, some dried chilli that had been hanging in the kitchen, and Parmesan. We even had enough wine left. Phew!
