Autumn already?

It certainly seems like it with this cold weather.  Winter duvet back on the bed, the house is cold and dank.  In fact the central heating was switched on for one hour to give the rooms a blast of warm air - unheard of in the summer!

T is unable to combine and has been loading up the trailers with the round bales bringing them under cover as more rain is forecast.

The extra photo is of a ribbon of bearded wheat along the edge of the field - easily mistaken for barley. The fence was put up after the crop had been sown so it is being left for the birds.

The second extra photo is another interesting cloud formation.
