Birthday Treats

Arg, it actually happened! Not for lack of trying, but today, we managed to stumble across a flock of about 100 waxwings in the midst of a wee winter berry feast - well, it was all part of the plan, honest.... What a treasure. And then home, for a homemade high tea: some slow roasted cajun pulled pork, freshly made crusty rolls and of course - the obligatory cucumber sandwiches, and scones with fresh cream, served up with a glass or 3 of champagne. Well that just rounds off a simply perfect day . Happy Birthday Espen!
