Flood!

I've probably mentioned on here before that whilst I rather enjoy running in the rain, I don't like starting a run when it's pouring down. In order to avoid just that situation, today, I ended up driving back up to KL and going out for my run a little before 1pm.

It's been raining a lot recently and there's a stretch on the road between Kitridding and Lupton that I thought would be flooded but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't. Running through huge puddles is not so bad, actually, but it's the half mile of squelching along afterwards that I can do without. 

In the end, though, I came a cropper at the bottom of Hophouse Lane, as you can see.
