50mm prime!

I have for a while been looking at getting a 50mm prime lens. During my research I came across an adapter that would let me use the "Zuiko" 50mm from my old Olympus 35mm film setup. With this you get focus conformation, but all other settings are manual. It also thinks its f1.4 where as it is f1.8! Woody was very good and sat for quite awhile before demanding to be left alone. Will have to get some more practice but for a £12.00 investment compaired to a couple of hundred for a f1.4 usm.
