Light on the bridges

Went to the Amnesty International/Freedom from Torture Imprisoned Writers' event at the Book Festival yesterday. Powerful readings.

Then we caught the No 11 bus up to our friends S&J for the evening. Lovely meal and a comfortable night in their home. This morning I drove Cameraman down to Waverley for the 09:00 train to Kings Cross. The traffic was so light I was there and back in half an hour.

Walked up to Swanston Village where we saw the crew in the extra. After coffee and cake back at S&J's I dropped my Pembrokeshire friend off at her holiday digs and came home.

The dogs are being delivered back this afternoon and we'll be out for more walks, weather permitting.

The view from S&J's house is wonderful. Here are the three bridges in the sun and threatening clouds from the bedroom window. They're a long way off so this is quite a crop.
