At the zoo

I’m not even ok with insects being held captive, but my friend cares for the few animals in the kibbutz zoo that are still there. I can’t look at the pair of emu’s that live in a run that’s too small for them. Don’t get me wrong, they’re healthy enough, but it’s just not the place for them ... At least the only mammals there are rabbits and one guinea pig, keeping ducks, geese and a terrapin company.
