Red Admiral

A day of doing very little except cooking lunch and making some crust-less quiches; these are now in the freezer.
 
I saw several butterflies, but the Peacock and the White, did not stay still long enough for me to get a decent picture, so today’s picture is of a Red Admiral.
 
The temperature at GMT noon was twenty-one degrees Celsius; it was sunny for most of the day, with a little rain during the morning.
