Butterflies

A day of pottering both inside and outdoors, including some proof reading for Victoria and for the focus group to which I belong.
 
Today’s picture is of a Peacock butterfly taken at a strange angle; I took several pictures of it, or one like it, but they were moving about too fast, so this one will have to be used to document its existence. I have also included a not very sharp Common Blue butterfly as an extra as this is the first one of these I have seen this year. 
 
The temperature at GMT noon was twenty-one degrees Celsius; it was sunny for most of the day, although overcast at times.
