Autumn in the air

Today was a salutary reminder our summer is almost over. Rain all day followed by sunshine and showers late afternoon.
 
Had a quick walk between showers before going to see “ Once upon a Time in Hollywood,” filmed and directed by Quentin Tarantino and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. 
 
Billed as a comedy-drama we expected some light Sunday evening entertainment.
This was not to be. It contained extreme violence.

But it has garnered rave revues and some describe it as “Tarantino’s love letter to the 1960s L.A”
 
Would I recommend it? It’s far too long, nearly three hours, and despite the violence I found it gripping. Not for the faint hearted though.
