Many thanks for all your good wishes after our unexpected events at the weekend. 

The patient is now back to domestic duties (dishwashing) and I hope the problem which resulted in calling an ambulance and the subsequent hospital admission will not recur. I think more investigations will happen once his GP gets the hospital notes. 

The washing machine has been on three times today. I went for a walk leaving towels on the line but regretted that decision when I saw these dark clouds. However it was still dry when I got home and I managed to dry a duvet cover too before a heavy shower.
