Carolina's journal

Beginning

The Rollieflex is the first camera I ever used and belonged to my Mother - Sally.   Apparently she didn't mind the cost of film and being in the 3rd grade I don't remember taking tons of pictures.   I had another camera later on in High School and used to send away for processing and a new roll of film.   It was lots of fun even if I didn't have much of a clue in the correct way to take photos.
My oldest daughter told me " MOM.... There is this website called Blipfoto that you have to look at"     She was the first person I followed and has since gotten too busy for a picture a day.   I am still going at it at around 7 years somewhere.   I started in May of 2012 though I didn't post every day until sometime later.       Blip has been a fun and amazing place to learn and grow and find out about other places that I probably will never visit.   I have come to cherish my "Blipbuddies"  and look forward to their candid and wonderful comments.   We are all in different stages of photography but I find that blippers tend to encourage and help each other.   When someone is sick or passes away your Blip buddies are the ones that are always there for you.   I appreciate each one of you!
this is my entry for Mono Monday and World Photographers Day.  it is also my Mom's birthday today, so I give her honor in the Middle of my photograph and also for starting off my love for photography.  Many thanks to my oldest daughter for encouraging me and teaching me lots of tips.
The extra is of Aria singing "this is the way you wash your face so early in the morning" !!
