Attended a youth justice meeting this morning at the Scottish Government where we were exploring developing capacity and improvement for the workforce.

In many areas the issues - and activities - were similar to the work we are pursuing in the children's Hearings system. So several opportunities to learn from each other and avoid duplication of effort or repetition.

Over the past few days we’ve had the pleasure of one of our nieces (on my wife’s side) Fiona and her boyfriend Ric staying with us. They’ve been doing a bit of the Festivals and catching up with friends.

Tonight we had a family tree session. The painting is of Fiona’s great grandmother - Sarah Kelly - from Northern Ireland. It was painted we think in 1912. We tried to see the family resemblance.
