Squishies

40 years ago I attended the wedding of Kenneth and Joyce.

Today several of us gathered at their invitation to celebrate their years together - see extra. They have been featured or referenced in many blips over the years and have been great friends over the years. I first met Kenneth in Primary 1!

The venue was Prestonfield House and we had a lovely time catching up and reminiscing. Some are retired; some are teaching; one is an international opera singer; one an accountant; one a peer of the realm, one a professor. As Kenneth said, who’d have thought it 40 years ago.

The young daughter of one couple introduced me to squishies. They have the feel of stress balls, but are much more colourful and fun.
