2019 Saturday — The Story Continues
Remember the “big old two-tone aqua-blue Ford pickup with dually wheels”? (It’s a post from Thursday.) This afternoon just as Mr. Fun & I arrived in the harbor parking lot and were getting the 3 pups out of the car, guess what drove in! The pickup truck that we’ve named “Big Blue.”
As soon as our pups were out of the car, Mr. Fun headed toward the pickup, which was pulling a welding machine with a fifth wheel hitch. So we met Mark today and talked for awhile.
He not only has a sailboat moored in the back bay, a big blue pickup truck in the parking lot with a welding rig, he has his shop on 40 acres located 15 miles due east of Gorda in the Hunter-Leggett region and he has a house in Cayucos.
Today he was at the harbor to repair someone else’s sailboat. So after talking with us, Mark motored out to his sailboat to get some tools and then to the one he was going to work on.
I asked where his pup was and Mark explained that “Buddy” was at home in Cayucos today.
Good night from
California’s Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
