Seaside Stroll

A bitingly cold wind blows in off the North Sea, for a couple walking along the promenade at Whitley Bay, Northumberland.

There was a light dusting of snow on the beach (the first time I'd ever seen such a thing), but the late December light was some of the most beautiful I've ever photographed. Honestly, a chimp with a box brownie could have taken brilliant shots that day.
