Actually, its about 10:30 in the morning, and the sky was odd coloured because of a huge fire on the outskirts of London.
But still...
Encountering this late-model Spitfire being put through its paces near Duxford aerodrome was pretty thrilling. The power that thundered right through your very bones as this machine swept across the misty hedgerows -I can only imagine how important and comforting the sight and sound of this sort of thing must have been to the people of southern England during the Battle of Britain.
