Weathered

I have never been 'green fingered' I detest gardening with a passion...I've never taken like my mother has done, she lives and breathes gardening and can spend hours and hours in it (never knew what she would do exactly), but as I've gotten that bit older, pedantic, appreciative of having quite a largish space in the back, I would like it to be a bit more presentable, so on the wish list this year we want to get some decking in place and a few more plants, as well as a little vegetable patch (I would love chickens too, but they would defo screw up the garden, so best leaving that idea out), our garden is South facing and we thankfully have no noisy neighbours (especially at the back - we back up onto a graveyard, poignant in a way as both my grandparents are resting there - I can even see their stone from the kid's bedroom window) so as I was saying, I'd like our garden to be a lovely space in which to spend some time in it when the weather is fine (ideally sunny - if we get any sun this year...) so watch this space (pun intended).
