All Aboard for Hogsmeade Station!

One plus some extras for Harry Potter fans today.

Me, Mrs K and Millie pups were at Goathland earlier this week but didn't visit the station as we concentrated on the walk down to Mallayan Spout. So, with Danielle this time we timed our visit to coincide with the trains, that run from Whitby and Pickering and back, to be in the station.

For the muggles amongst us, Hogsmeade is a tiny, dark platform where the Hogwarts Express ends its journey north from Platform Nine-And-Three-Quarters..... obviously.

Anyway, we had lunch in the Goathland Hotel, or Aidensfield Arms as it was know in the TV series Heartbeat, then spent the rest of the afternoon in Robin Hood's Bay. The step count is looking pretty good this week.

It's now chill time while we make our minds up where to go for dinner :-)
