Loanhead Stone Circle

Near Daviot Aberdeenshire, it's believed to be 4/5000 yrs
old,this recumbent stone circle is often associated with the
moon observations, they particularly numerous in Aberdeenshire'
Excavation revealed cremation burials in Urns beneath little
Cairns,and a central burial consisting of cremated body of a man
laid straight in a hollow beneath his funeral pyre.
In spring and summer groups come and camp around here and
the local council have provided good facilities for them.
Our no 1 grand son came over today to play helicopters with Mr L
And it's my daughter Katscaptures 100 blip well done baby girl :-))
