Too hot

Outside the back door is this unusual colour verbena in a hanging basket. There are red diascia and a pinky orange flower like a small petunia in the basket too. They have been very pretty through the summer, but all my pots and baskets are beginning to look a bit tired now.
I know the feeling! I used to be able to cope with the heat. I have twice lived in the tropics, and it wasn't a problem. Now, however, as soon as the thermometer gets into the high twenties I can't cope. I have to find an indoor job! But it is excellent that there is fine weather for the holiday weekend.
