Leaf colour

Bank holiday weekend so it was decided we would have roast chicken for lunch, just the two of us. It was a bit hot to be cooking a roast, but it was very good, and the leftovers will make meal planning easy for the rest of the week.
Not much done in the garden today. The temperature was 32 degrees and I stayed indoors and enjoyed England's spectacular Test Match win.
These pretty copper leaves are new shoots on our little apricot tree, defiant after its severe pruning a few months ago.
