Tallest of the bunch

This is our tallest sunflower as seen from our neighbour’s garden... it is towering over the 6 foot fence and is at least 9 feet tall... “Nine Foot Norma” is its name (because it is eNORMous).

We had a quiet day in the garden... lots of giggling in the paddling pool too. Mid-afternoon we went to my parents’ house for a BBQ for my dad’s birthday tomorrow.
