Wild Poppy

Knowing that the weather today was going to be very hot I took Poppy and Mia out early ..... just after 7!

We went up to the Heritage Park but even at that time we were not alone. Joggers, other dog walkers and I even spotted a dad sitting in the toddlers play area reading the paper while his youngsters were playing.

Two circuits were enough for the two hairy dogs and I had had enough too! There were still quite a few wild flowers in bloom but only one poppy with a white centre .... it had to be my blip for today.

The dogs were collected just after lunch .... the house seems strangely quiet and uncluttered now that the bed, the food dishes and water bowls have gone.
