Smack

Another one bites spreads the dust...……...
We came down this morning and found another impact mark.
I am not sure what kind of bird it was because the head and body seemed rather small compared to the wingspan.
Unfortunately the bright light (yes, there was sun) made it really hard to get a decent shot which shows the detail of the feathers.

I have spent a bit of time in the garage doing some turning - and getting annoyed with 5 bubbles that appeared in the lacquer I put on the big cake board which means I am going to have to sand it back again when it has fully set.
I also spent a wee while attacking the deep rooted weeds between the slabs on the patio …… with a flamethrower.
