First Minister

We stayed overnight in our camper van at Traquair, and have had an amazing and stimulating day at the Beyond Borders International Festival.

Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was serious about Brexit and says the SNP will do all it can to stop it, and will work with whichever party(s) it would take to try to stop a no-deal. She was funny too. What asked what was said on the steps of Bute House when our current PM visited, she said Janey Godley wasn’t too far off.

If you are interested in politics, history, human rights, literature, climate crisis, women’s education and journalism I can’t recommend this festival enough. It’s going to take days to assimilate all I have learned. And weeks to read all the new books we bought.
