Horticultural success....

This morning we headed to the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show, "celebrating the country way of life since 1837" . We've had a great day there!

We've seen almost all there is to see in the way of farming and machinery.  Some really massive bulls and some very clever tractors, falconry displays and tunnel racing ferrets. The horticultural marquee was a real treat! Flowers and vegetables displayed to perfection! Also a  really creative vegetable competition for children titled Farmyard Friends

Home to the relative cool and shade under the gazebo in the garden with my book and a cup of tea. It's been another very hot day but wonderful weather for the late August Bank Holiday.
