Desfiladero de La Hermida

Rode my bike down and back up this gorge today. Having driven up it twice it was nice to appreciate it properly and stop where I liked. A gentle cruise down and easy gradient back up.

At the far end I was spared the ‘Bowling Museum’ - mind boggles - by the vast Spanish lunch break. But I got lucky at la Cueva de Loja, just catching a guided tour of the delightful prehistoric cave drawings of a small herd of cows and horses. Thought to be 15,000 years old.
