Windy Stacks

Looking from Windy Stacks down into the Wick of Shunni on the west coast of the south mainland.

While it is almost certainly very windy at Windy Stacks some (or even most) of the time - on the days when we walk up from Quendale Beach to Windy Stacks it is usually clear and still.  

There was lots of low-lying fog around at the south end of Shetland for much of today, but looking north along the coast it was remarkably clear.  The final leg of the walk was back along Quendale Beach - when a paddle was definitely in order.
