Hampered Hunter

I spotted the cat and trained my long lens on it. It turned and then spotted Ollie dog and me. It didn't flee at once and when it eventually did run that's when Ollie noticed it. She gave chase and I didn't stop her as I knew it had a head start and that she would be unable to catch up with it. It disappeared into the brambles. I always shoo cats off our property as I worry for the birds.

When I looked at the image on screen I noticed that the animal has a damaged right eye with no obvious pupil. It seems to be managing.   .
