Tickweed...

...which isn't actually a weed--it's a type of sunflower. Day three of Tom's chemo and all's well. I went walking in the Emerald Preserve for part of the time he was receiving his infusion, just for some exercise and to find a blip. Lots of turtles sunning themselves on logs, but I loved the profusion of the tickweed blooms on the hillside, so went with that. I'm solo today, as Mae started her first day of 3 y.o. kindergarten. She was so excited, looked so cute in her uniform this morning, & I can't wait to hear how she liked it. Big thanks to Miranda for hosting the Wildflower challenge this summer, & happy hump day! :))
